DIODE:-
Diode is nothing but electronic switch. It conducts current only one direction called forward biased and it block current with another direction called reverse biased. Working like a ordinary switch or fan button. But it is one of the most important component of electronic instrument. Diode mainly used in Rectifier like Half, Full and Bridge rectifier, and also used for Protection circuit.
